Respected French jazz and session guitarist Pierre Cavalli wrote a number of TV themes in France during the 1970s, mostly issued on these great, obscure French EPs and 45s. Largely forgotten in France and unknown to most non-French speaking diggers, we've been doing our best to uncover some new titles and recently had a tip on this killer 45. The main theme is a wicked uptempo psychy guitar funk track with tough jazzy funk drums, a little flute and some great echo bass breaks, while the flip is a lovely mellow summertime flute and acoustic guitar groover. Superb!
