One of Michel Legrand's best French soundtrack 45s, this gem sounds to have been recorded during the cult L'Homme Est Mort sessions as the feel and instrumentation of the pieces on this 45 is very similar to that on the Mort tracks. This 45 includes the outstanding and very different blues-funk shuffle track 'Paris Underground', with great organ and wah work sitting behind a groovy shuffle feel. The main theme is more classical in feel. Interesting, very different and very groovy, with a superb cover to boot.
