This album definitely doesn't look promising from the cover - a couple holding a small child superimposed on a city scene. Any soundtrack digger should immediately check out any album by a jazz composer from the 70s though - and here's a great example. There are two killer jazz-funk numbers on here: one is a great uptempo strings-funk number with a wicked opening break, and the other is a hard midtempo jazz-funk tune with some great sax, drums and bass work in a strong late 70s style. Recommended.
