The soundtrack to an obscure Steve Guttenberg movie with Phil Silvers (looks like some sort of school flashback thing) isn't perhaps a good place to start looking for funk. But there's a surprise on here: a great midtempo funk track with loud, hard drums and a strong sax solo, called 'Charlie's Groove'. Forget the rest of the LP.
