Taken from Roger Vadim's French film 'La Curee' (released on Barclay in France originally), this LP is a cult Indian groovy beat classic, featuring some superb chunky beat numbers like the brassy organ groover 'Avant Toi' and some good groovy 60s vocal numbers. It's a little primitive in sound compared with some of the other late 60s material, but there's plenty of life in it, and there are some good sitar breaks into the bargain. The first side isn't so hot as the flip contains all the heavy duty beats. Quite hard to find and usually expensive - listen before you part with the dough.
