Included for the sake of completeness, as this isn't really a soundtrack record, but we're often asked about it due to Secret Code appearing on many a soundtrack compilation album. So what is this LP? It's a Schifrin solo album, obviously when he was at the peak of his 60s popularity, and equally obviously put together after a few too many nights on the hallucinogens. But that doesn't make it a bad album - indeed, far from it. Plenty of very groovy 60s cuts that wouldn't be out of place on any of his better 60s OSTs, like Mannix or Bullitt. Some more sentimental pieces sit alongside harder-edged funky instrumentals, and of course Secret Code is good enough to merit the price of the album anyway. Good stuff.
