French soundtrack composer par excellance Legrand scores another winner with this great groovy soundtrack to Steve McQueen vehicle 'Le Mans'. McQueen did most of his own driving in the movie, a pet project of his. Best track is the gritty organ/horns blast of The Race: First Laps, complete with revving engines and race commentary - great stuff!
