Pecado Capital Various Som Livre 403.6081, 1975
Pecado Capital album cover

Not quite up to the funk standards of some of the other soundtrack releases on Som Livre, this album nevertheless includes the excellent chunky downtempo Hammond-fuelled latin funk of Azimuth's 'Melo Da Cuica' which is worth the price of the LP alone. There are plenty of other notable tracks if you're feeling a little more bossa or summertime too - check the ridiculously infectious mellow flute-samba-soul of Que Bestiero too.

Overall Rating: 3
