'Un film de groupe Pattern' says the cover on this very odd-looking French soundtrack LP. Session musician and library record producer Besombes was an experimental musician in many ways, reflected in his use of electronics on this album. It's an awesome blend of crazy Moog, jazzy breaks, wicked electric basslines and fantastic snappy drums. Perhaps the best description of this mad album is that it sounds like a revised, reworked and updated version of Pierre Henry's 'Messe Pour Le Temps Present'. The best track is the unbelievably heavy 'Hache 60', an incredible Moog/synth/bass/drums piece that has to be played loud and then will blow you away. Superb.
