One of the few funk soundtrack albums where the film wasas good as the music. Steve McQueen on top form - Lalo Schifrin on top form too. A superb album, with a heavy beats jazz sound. The rhythms are uniquely Schifrin, a perfect blend of funk, pop and jazz. The main theme is a classic with its strong, driving bassline. The rest of the album is as consistent.
