This is one of those classic 70s cop show themes that spawned so many cover versions that you're never sure which one is the original! Well, this one's as close as it gets (and was also known as Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow), written by Dave Grusin and performed by the original El Chicano band who performed the original theme. A great piece of rocky wah-wah funk, don't miss it, as it's tight, funky, and great on the dancefloor. Great funky vocals, too. Recommended.
