Engelchen Jacques Loussier Orchestra Cornet 3059, 1968
Engelchen album cover

Here's a 45 from the crazy German bag. French jazz electronics pioneer Jacques Loussier weighs in with an amazing uptempo fuzz-groover, from an obscure dodgy German adult flick called 'Little Angel'. The LP is really hard to find and the best cut is featured on this 45, so this is the one to find. Quite bizarre, some killer breaks, hard 60s poppy rock guitar and an odd organ melody carry this mad groover from start to finish. Very, very weird indeed.

Overall Rating: 4
