Trade Martin wrote an unusual rock-tinged score for this hit romantic comedy in 1972 - the album, oddly, was put out on Buddah. Most of the music is from the standard romantic score songbook, with strings, ballads and orchestral pieces plus the odd sax solo. There's one good funky moment, the oddball 'Heavy rock at OJ' with huge drums and crazy fuzz guitar riff. Worth a spin - and a definite break recommendation.
