Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon Philip Springer Columbia OS 3540, 1969
Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon album cover

From an Otto Preminger film featuring Fred Williamson and Liza Minelli, this soundtrack comprises predominently strings suspense music. There are a couple of righteous vocal-and-guitar numbers (ie. dull) but the LP is redeemed by two great uptempo funky groove tracks, big drums and guitars, by Pacific Gas & Electric. Check 'The Rake & Work Your Show' and 'Elvira', and forget the rest.

Overall Rating: 3
