This album dates from around the time when the movies started to come over all 'Smokey and the Bandit'. Plenty of bluegrass and cajun flavors to this album, then, and even a couple of cuts by Dr. John. Um, well, we prefer the cuisine to the music, and can't really recommend this album on a funk basis. There are a couple of good breaks, like Getting Ready, but otherwise leave it unless country's your bag.
