One of Legrand's harder-to-find US scores, this is pretty sentimetal and light in feel for most of the album. The cover doesn't inspire confidence either. But persistence prevails, and you'll turn up two excellent funky jazz pieces if you find this album. Rockin' Chair is an oustanding seven minute funky jazz piece with some beautiful brass, guitar and piano work over a great snappy drum part. It's exceedingly groovy and will undoutably fill any jazz dancefloor. Also check the cool 'Breakfast time'. Good stuff.
