Apple, The George Clinton Cannon STEREO 1000, 1980
Apple, The album cover

The Apple is a long-forgotten rock musical movie starring Joss Ackland and Catherine Mary Stewart amongst others. The album sleeve shows the cast in full P-Funk style regalia; appropriately George Clinton put the music together and produced the soundtrack. The music is unashamedly showy and completely forgettable with the exception of the strong disco-funk 'Coming' and P-Funky 'Creation'.

Overall Rating: 2
