Domonic Frontiere on top form in this Richard Burton / Liz Taylor oddball movie about a mysterious mental hospital inmate. It's a lush orchestral affair in places; in others a tight, funky, uptempo rocker. The album features two great groovy instrumentals in 'Kiddo' and 'Snake Rock'. It's not as heavy as, say, 'On Any Sunday' but is extremely groovy. Well worth a listen. Plenty of fat bass and wah guitar back up the big horn section on 'Snake Rock' while 'Kiddo' is a laid-back organ and trumpet groover - really classy!
