Disco-fied Rhythm Heritage ABC ABCD-934, 1976
Disco-fied album cover

Another classic example of the 'don?t let the crass title and awful cover put you off' style of LP. This album spawned the huge hit single 'Theme From S.W.A.T.' (originally by Barry De Vorzon) and features several other good funk renditions of popular funk film and TV themes. With a line-up including Tom Scott and Lee Ritenour, how can you go wrong? All instrumental, just as it should be.

Overall Rating: 4
