Immaculate condition Pearl Masters Studio BRX 100% birch shell pack plus extra tom in Platinum Mist (a natural wood lacquered finish with a slight sparkle in the varnish). The Masters series was Pearl's top-of-the-range kit throughout the 90s until recently. Included with the shell pack are 4 mounted toms and 1 bass drum, 4 Pearl tom arms (3 long, 1 short) and 2 Pearl multiclamps, plus a complete set of Hardcase and soft cases for the kit. This kit was bought new and since then it's been cased and stored unused and has only been gigged once. It's in immaculate condition, with only one small ding on one of the bass drum hoops (already there when purchased!) Originally it was bought as a fusion shell pack (10,12,14,22), then augmented with an additional 8" tom which was a special order from Pearl. The 8" gives lots of flexibility with setup options and is a cracking little drum.
This kit has a fantastic, punchy, resonant sound that really sings when you hit the drums hard. These BRX toms sound superb, and the die-cast hoops make them fast and simple to tune. The kick's got plenty of punch and balls and mikes very well too. It's an ideal kit for live or recording work and looks the business.
